  • 1966 First professional engagement -Toured Australia with the Rolling Stones and
    PJ Proby.

  • Signed a 5 year recording contract with SPIN Records and released 9 singles
    and one album

  • 1970 -1972 called up for National Service.

  • 1973 - Starred in original Sydney season of Godspell for a record breaking
    season
    of 15 months.

  • Wrote original music score and starred in “La Mandragola” alongside
    Pamela Stephenson

  • Played Dean McDonald in blockbuster TV series “Number 96”

  • Portrayed Tom Carter in Grundy’s Channel 7 hit “Class Of 75”

  • Appeared in successful ABC TV series “Certain Women”

  • Gold Record for No.1 megahit “Denim & Lace”

  • Followed up with another No.1 hit “A Mean Pair Of Jeans”

  • Won Outstanding Composition and Outstanding Performance Awards at the
    Yamaha World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo - 1976

  • Released the winning song “On The Loose Again” which reached Top 20 nationally

  • Played the leading role of Lun Tha in the London Palladium production of “The King & I” with Yul Brynner and Virginia McKenna

  • While overseas performed in the United Kingdom, United States and Asia

  • Performed at the Official opening of the Sydney Entertainment Centre with John Denver and Peter Allen

  • MC for the Pope’s Youth Rally at the SCG before a crowd of 40,000

  • In 1987 compered the Official Opening Concert for Carnivale

  • Compered Official Grand Opening Concert of the Bicentennial Pageant Of Nations

  • Headlined at Jupiters Casino and La Mirage on the Gold Coast in a musical tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber

  • Voted Most Popular Performer and Entertainer Of The Year on P & O Cruises in
    all age groups

  • Resumed acting career in 1991 with a guest starring role on ABC TV series “Embassy”

  • 1992 - Toured Hilton Hotel circuit with US superstar Randy Crawford

  • 1994 - Toured Australia as guest artist on the “70’s Spectacular” with Thelma Houston and KC & The Sunshine Band

  • In 1995 was Special Guest Artist for the Ethnic Business Wards on SBS • From 1995 to 2001 featured in the Darling Harbour Christmas Pageant televised nationally on the 7 & 10 Networks

  • In 1998 released his latest album dedicated to all the great love songs of the Rock era - “FIRST LOVE” on Warners • In 1999 played “Jack” in the World Premiere of the musical stage production of “Jack The Ripper”

  • Nominated for Best Male Vocal & Versatile Variety Performer of the Year in 25th Anniversary Mo Awards 2000. Nominated again in 2001

  • Launch of new concept show ‘Stairway To Heaven’ and CD in August 2002

  • Inducted into the 'Walk of Fame' - May 2003

  • Became the first Australian solo performer to sing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland – October 2004

  • 2007 - Launched 'The Greatest Hits of Cliff and the Shadows' show

  • 2008 - 50th Anniversary Celebration Tour, Cliff and the Shadows Together Again
